THINK TWICE...
The Dos and Don'ts of Cannabis:
Everyone’s endocannabinoid system is different, individual responses to cannabis may differ based on age, genetics, metabolism, overall health and more.
Start low and go slow: Begin with a low dose to gauge your tolerance and increase incrementally over a period of time.
Avoid overconsumption which can lead to symptoms such as increased anxiety, paranoia, dizziness, elevated heart rate or sleepiness.
Wait two hours before increasing edible doses as it is the metabolite of THC which exerts the psychoactive effect.
Be mindful of consumption methods: Different methods of consumption (e.g., smoking, edibles) have varying effects and onset times. I.e. Smoking: 10 minutes vs. Edibles: 2 hours
Avoid mixing with other substances: Combining cannabis with alcohol or other drugs can cause adverse effects by elevating the potency of those other substances. Elevated liver enzymes may also occur.
Avoid driving: Cannabis can impair motor skills and reaction time, so refrain from driving or operating machinery.
Store securely: Keep cannabis products out of reach of children and pets in a secure location.
Consult a healthcare professional if you have underlying health conditions or concerns about cannabis use.
